THE COMPANY

STASY SA (Urban Rail Transport Single-Member SA) was incorporated on 17 June 2011 (Government Gazette 1454). The new company comprises Athens-Piraeus Electric Railways (ISAP), Attiko Metro SA (AMEL), and TRAM SA.

The merger of the 3 companies primarily aims at saving resources by creating economies of scale and, as regards transports, enabling the complimentarily of track-based modes of transport, so as to become the first choice of the residents and visitors of Attica for their transport. A key policy choice of the Company is to continuously recognise and respond to the passengers’ needs.

The main endeavour and mission of all its employees is to transport people with safety, reliability and comfort, on the basis of a passenger-centred philosophy and respect to the environment, and continuously improve the quality of its services.
