Leasing STASY Premises

The Department of Development & Real Estate Management, a vital part of the Commercial Opportunities Section, is responsible for the development, management and supervision of the investment property of the Electric Railway, the Metro and the TRAM. Such property mainly includes shops, offices, parking spaces and plots located in prominent areas inside and around the stations and, overall, in very visible places. By way of example, there are properties in stations with high passenger traffic such as Omonia, Monastiraki, Kallithea, Neratziotissa, Aghios Antonios, Syngrou-Fix, Dafni, Doukissis Plakentias, Piraeus, etc.

The leases are implemented by tendering procedures. Large commercial chains and various types of businesses are already doing business in STASY premises.

In the context of better passenger service, the Department of Real Estate Management cooperates and concludes contracts with mobile telephony companies, banks for the installation of ATMs, with vending machines companies etc.
